mydaralink: What is one thing most people don't know about you?

Gxcentrik Design: I have been a licensed scuba diver since the age of 17 – and have held on to a sea turtle while it swam. Pretty cool (and have been followed by a shark .. Maybe not so cool)

mydaralink: What has been your most rewarding work experience so far?

Gxcentrik Design: I work with a couple of non-profit organizations and work on some marketing tools to help bring in funding. Recently I redesigned a newsletter and some direct mail for an Aid and Relief organization. My contact told me that donations have risen due to the new look — that made me feel very happy to have created something that was eventually going to benefit a group of people in need.

mydaralink: You have $5000 to spend in one day, what do you do with it?

Gxcentrik Design: humm I would probably buy myself the 17” MacBook Pro laptop with all the fixings!! Then I would go and replenish my art supplies stash. And then I would treat all my girlfriends to dinner Whatever money is left over I would buy groceries and drop it off at the food bank

mydaralink: What is your biggest pet peeve?

Gxcentrik Design: My biggest pet peeve are people who don’t recycle – things are way too easy for us not to do it. We have to take an active part in this movement not only for us but for our kids and future generations — a small drop can make a wave.

mydaralink: Name one thing you would love to improve on in your professional work?

Gxcentrik Design: I think it would just be to take the time to keep educating myself in the newest techniques. And keep improving my skills with certain design applications that I work with.
